Called in here off the cuff after having a leaflet through the door advertising fish and chips offering a limited time off at £6.95. Much better than Websters, last time I ate there before the takeover I was disappointed sat at a tiny fish and reheated chips. The shops much brighter , appreciated the fresh to cook , service was very good, based on this visit we we will certainly be back even at normal price of £8.75 which is still food value for money if the offering is cook little and often so it is fresh.

I don't know if they tasted so good because we were so hungry, but they really hit the spot. Batter was good, not too greasy. Good to see that they're using cardboard trays rather than polystyrene, bit if, like me, you like to ladle on the vinegar, you need to either eat very quickly or have some protectiom between the box and your clothes! Friendly service. Open later than most chippies every night.

After having my order cancelled by the first Uber driver for some unknown reason I eventually got my 2nd order which was very nice the staff from the chippy even added extras due to what happened with my first order which was very appreciated, highly recommend.
